Would you guys ever diagnose a fuel pump with the fuel pump off? Then why would you diagnose an electrical system only checking resistance? Let me show you why it's important to load test the circuit to make sure the circuits work. So doing a resistance test on this 14 gauge wire, you can see we have zero ohms of resistance. Now I'm going to test one strand and we're still going to see very low resistance. Testing this one strand of wire, we can still see that we have very little resistance. So we have 13 volts of pressure. So as I apply ground to the circuit, you guys can see that current begins to flow. Pay attention to our wire and look at how our wire is actually glowing. The reason why you guys want to make sure you load test is resistance said this wire was okay, but look at how much current this wire is actually carrying just because there's only one strand of it actually present. So always make sure you guys are using a load tester of some sort to load the circuit, not just check resistance. Remember, why are you going to check a fuel pump when the fuel pump is off? It's obviously going to pass. I'll see you guys on the next one.
