Here are the bare minimum steps to running Google Ads and getting leads like this for your business. Here we are the new campaign screen. We're gonna go ahead and create a campaign for leads. We're gonna be creating a search campaign and for this example will be a home service company that wants website visits and phone calls. You can go ahead and paste your business website in here and your company's phone number here. You can go ahead and name the campaign whatever you want. I typically just name it the services being advertised along with the location. We're gonna go ahead and start off with maximize clicks for the bidding strategy. I would do maximize conversions but we just don't have enough conversion data in this account yet. Turn off the display network. We don't want that. I typically leave on the search network for testing it. Enter another location and then enter your target areas. If you're targeting Dallas, Texas, do not do it this way. Instead you're gonna wanna add locations in bulk and you're gonna wanna type in all the cities inside of Dallas or all the postal codes. That way you can have it much more narrow. We're also gonna change the target settings to presence. Stop once you get to this page. Go to the upper right now tools and settings, find keyword planner and open it in a new tab here. We can type in search terms or keywords that we think our business would appear for and Google recommend us more. Google will also show us additional information such as the average monthly search volume, the competition and how much we can expect to pay per click. Now open up Google sheets or something similar and make yours look like this. We're gonna filter each keyword into different ad groups and we're gonna properly structure it based on relevancy, product, service or however. Quick tip, try to avoid using broad match. Try to stick to just phrase match and exact match keywords. Once you're done with that, go ahead and paste the keywords for the first ad group into this area. Give your ad group a name, scroll down and create your first ad. You'll repeat this process several times until you have several ad groups like this as well as several matching relevant ads for each ad group. Then of course, don't forget to add your extensions. There's quite a bit here so make sure you do them all completely. Turn on an ad schedule if you haven't already or if your business needs one and then you're good. Set that baby live and start getting leads. There's a whole lot more that goes into getting Google Ads running and successful. So if you have any more questions, comment them below and I'll definitely make more in depth videos down the road.
