My friends always think that it's interesting the way that I view time, so I figured that I would share it with you guys as well. I learned this trick from Neil Ravakant from a podcast that I watched in 2020 and in 2021 I became a millionaire. So, hopefully this works for you too. I value my time at $1,500 an hour. Now you're probably like, how did you come to that number? It's just a number that came to my head. If you're thinking that you're worth $100 or $150 an hour just 10 exit, trust me for this thought experiment. It really, really helps. When you associate money with time, what it does is it creates a fil system which allows you to make much better decisions. Everything that you do you can compare to this time is this time that I'm about to spend worth my money. So here's a great example that comes to mind to story. So, I have four airline companies in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Around the holidays I wanted to put up Christmas trees because we had a couple of vacations that I wanted to fill and I knew that we would make much more money. We can charge more when the house is decorated and prepared for Christmas time. So I'm left with the decision that I have to make. Do I fly out to Tennessee? It's going to take me a couple of days, $400 round trip. Remember my fifth $1,000 an hour, that's my hourly rate that I put against myself. And it's going to take me at least an hour to set up these four houses that's $6,000. Or I can hire a cleaner, which I did. I hired my best cleaner. I paid her $1,500 and she set up all the houses. They looked beautiful. And during the holiday season, I ended up with 93% occupancy in these properties and I put $1,7000 in extra profit in my pockets from this one decision. We always get caught up thinking that money is the most valuable resource and it's not. It's actually time. Hit that follow button.
