Look, money does solve a lot of problems. It sounds simple, but I fucking love going to Coles and not even thinking about the money. Didn't I nice it is to buy groceries and not think about like not to the price. I can eat a steak every day, like it's in the past. I remember back in like 2019/2020 when I was really stressed about money, I had this goal with myself, I was like, "How many $0 days can I have in a row?" I would buy tins of beans, quesadilla wraps, like the resealable ones in the freezer. I can put them in the freezer. And just be like, days in a row can I have? Can I buy something for like $20? How many days out of it? That's so fucked up that that's that's something that people have to deal with, but it's the little things that really, you know, your life will improve in making more money, but your problems don't go away. The idea that you're a happier person is bullshit. If you're unhappy making no money, stressed making more money, but you're still going to be unhappy. I have really bad anxiety and my anxiety manifests in like health anxiety. I won't convince myself I'm sick. I'll convince myself I'm dying. If I'm really stressed, I'll spiral to the point where I'll get up in the morning and I was sitting at work and I couldn't bring myself to do anything because I was like, "Oh Tom, you're going to die, like next month." You know, you really need to make sure has access to all your the login details to your bank accounts and stuff so she can keep paying for this house. You know, you really need to sort out a will, like you're going to die. And it's that's the spiral, like I'll feel a niggle in my ear or my thigh or my balls or something, like immediately you're going to die. And I don't know why. And it's something that I made money, I still deal with now. It's not going to fix your problems. It's not going to make you less anxious. Your depression. You're the same person. You'll just have more digits in your bank account.
