I think something pivotal that people really need to remind themselves of is that no one owes you anything. This goal that you have of being a content creator and building a business online and getting to do whatever you want every day and making an incredible living doing so is extraordinarily ambitious. This is incredibly difficult to achieve and only a small percentage of the population will actually do it. So by expecting that, you can just make content and it'll work. Or if you don't feel like doing it, you don't have to is fucking crazy. I see a lot of people online, they're like, I don't really like making videos, so I'm not going to make videos. I'm going to build an audience without making videos. It's like, does anyone like doing the things that they want to do? Most people don't like doing the things that they want to do, but they do them anyway and they achieve success because they force themselves to do it. If something's not worked out, try something different. If the thing that you're doing right now is something that you think should work, but it hasn't worked, newsflash, it's not working. It's not that the world's out to get you. It's not that the algorithms out to get you. It's not that people don't understand your genius. It's that it's not fucking working. Like this idea that you're owed anything is fucking crazy. It's going to require doing things that you don't want to do. Sure, you can be passionate about the thing that you chose, but at the end of the day, if you aren't willing to try things that you don't necessarily want to do, you will never find a way to make it successful.
