I know you've heard about how Alex and Mozy didn't sell anything to his audience in the beginning, and as a result created enormous amounts of goodwill, or you've heard V tell creators that the longer you wait to monetize, the more money you'll make. But with all due respect to both of these people, here's where they're both fucking wrong. You're not Alex. Or V. Alex alone had a net worth north of $50 million before he ever started building his personal brand. He knows how to monetize, extraordinary well. So when the time comes for him to lever his audience, he will smash it out of the park. But if you wait to monetize, you'll still be stuck with your or training wheels on, wondering why everyone thinks you're offer is dog shit, because monetizing is a skill, and learning a new skill requires being a beginner, and it's a lot easier to get your beginner reps out of the way when you have 500 followers, than it is when you have 500,000. But learning the skill of monetization is not the only reason, and this second reason has much bigger consequences. You need to monetize as early as human possible, so you build an audience that expects it from you. The horror story example of this going incredibly wrong is the YouTube channel yes theory. They built their entire audience based on the pretens of we're just doing this for the love of it. They would launch their self- funded films and put a free or pay what you want button and that would be their monetization strategy. They would constantly tell their audience about how altruistic they were, but in the time inevitably came and they launched their first course because surprisingly, running a business that makes no money They received a title wave of hate. They built an audience that expected free and then wondered why no one wanted to pay for their product. Meanwhile, I have you guys, where every single time I get stopped in public, the first thing that comes out of your mouth is have you bought your Porsche yet. Somehow, me buying a Porsche has become synonymous with my brand. How can I have you guys who cheer me on when I have a successful launch and are all for my success, whilst the channel like yes theory received flat out abuse when they launch a product. The reason, positioning. I was honest and you guys know what to expect from me. I'm here to make money, but I'm also here to help you guys make money, because when you win, I get one step closer to the day that I take delivery of my brand new Olive Green Porsche 992 GT3 RS. So if you want to help me, get one step closer to the day that I take delivery of my brand new Porsche and also help yourself feel the powerful personal brand in the process, comment build down below, because in the for 6 of time to build, have just opened and they'll be open till the 11th of February at midnight.
