you're not gonna wanna leave another voicemail for a prospect without hearing this first. the goal of a voicemail is not to get a call back. no one listens to a voicemail and says oh shoot I need to make sure to call them back. and if that's what you're hoping for then you are wasting your time. the goal of a voicemail is not to get a call back. the goal of a voicemail is to redirect the prospect to a different channel. here's what that sounds like. hey Stu, this is Zack. no need to give me a call back. I'm gonna send you an email about X, Y and Z so check that out. if it makes sense for us to talk further we can talk to you soon. see ya. the beauty of this voicemail is that it takes all the expectation off of the prospect to call you back which means they are more likely to do what you told them to do which was check out your email. now for this to work the X, Y, Z portion of your voicemail and your email needs to be short and choppy and they cannot be about you. they need to be about the problems your prospect experiences. and if you do this your voicemails will be more effective, you'll get more opportunities and hopefully close more deals. so for more tips like this follow me.
