Why don't they take 2% extra corp tax off the billionaires then the billion pound corporations well that's the sort of thing that paying 4% corp tax when I'm paying 20 yeah that's the sort of thing that they they because that seems fair yeah that's the sort of thing they may I mean I might dispute that but that's the sort of thing they may why chase dispute it well because I think that essentially so we looked at this in terms of a sales tax cause one of the issues that you I mean I'm not talking about an extra tax I'm talking about corp taxes 20% yeah but the billionaires managed to get away with paying four yeah yeah so just just bring them more in line with yeah they could do that they could do that but then the the argument against that is that the the mega corporations will just not touch we're not going anywhere near Britain uh and they'll get Ireland and Europe or not Europe but places which are all favorable so there's that tax competition okay um and I think that uh but you're right to say that some mega corporations could probably pay a little bit more um but but but but the the government will come after them and come after anyone willy nilly and just as the rich people can flit around the super rich the mega corporations can insulate themselves as they are doing and that's what you're mentioning against whatever tax measures you're you're bringing in but your small business um you know on the high street in Manchester wherever um Holden wherever Lewisham they're the ones who are gonna get hit just as the people who are professionals middle class people who aren't very mobile they're the ones who are gonna get hit and that's what I tried to you know as a government in government Liz and I and others we tried to stop that so you tried to reduce taxes completely
