Hey guys, so we know some of you have encountered these scams pretending that they are from the Rocket support team. 00:01 They send you messages like these in your Raket inbox asking you to click this link to verify your Raket account or else your account will be suspended. 00:15 Please do not believe them and do not click the link. 00:20 Once you click the link, there's a warning that says you are leaving Raket.PH. 00:25 And that you are leaving the Raket platform. 00:28 This will only lead you to phishing Raket pages but they are fake. 00:33 And they will ask you for your bank details. 00:35 Please note that there is no official Raket profile or support team named that. 00:41 You may only contact us at help.raket.ph or via email at support@raket.ph. 00:45 To make it clear, here are things that Raket will never ask you for. 00:49 We will never ask you for your passwords or other sensitive account details. 00:56 We will never ask for payment outside of Raket's platform. 00:59 We will never send you unsolicited links or attachments. 01:03 Unfortunately, there are scammers. 01:04 They take advantage of the online platforms like Raket to target users. 01:09 And while we, the Raket team, always strive for your safety, 01:14 we are not controlling all of the external sites or links that may be used fraudulently. 01:21 So it's really, really important for everyone to be extra cautious 01:26 when interacting with online notifications or links. 01:30 Even if they appear to be from trusted sources. 01:35 It's always important to double check. 01:39 But guys, please know that we are taking actions and we are suspending these accounts. 01:45 To protect yourself from these scammers, 01:49 never transfer money or make transactions outside of Raket's platform. 01:56 All legitimate payments and transactions will always be conducted directly through Raket. 02:00 Next, be aware of phishing signs. 02:03 Check for spelling errors or grammar mistakes that seem to be unprofessional. 02:10 Check nearly any request for personal and sensitive details like passwords, bank details, social security numbers. 02:15 And another tactic they use is they use urgent or threatening language 02:20 that will make you decide or act without thinking. 02:25 Like in the case of this, they're saying that once you don't verify your Raket profile, 02:31 your account will be suspended. 02:34 If you've been victimized by these scammers, 02:38 we suggest you reach out to your bank directly ASAP. 02:42 They will be able to guide you on the next steps. 02:47 Please ask them to freeze your bank account or change your password or reverse the transaction. 02:55 And if you receive any more suspicious message or potential scam, 02:59 please reach out to us at help.raket.ph or contact us via email at support@raket.ph. 03:05 Stay safe, Raketeers!
