With the cost of literally everything going up, shopping secondhand is my only saving grace for my bank account. So these are all my tips for where I shop for clothing, furniture, housewares, electronics, books, literally everything. I'm going to run you through all my favorites. For clothing, ThredUp is my number one go-to. Super easy. I can favorite things that can come back, but the most important, they allow returns. Second for clothing is Beni, which is this little B thing right here. It's an extension and when you're shopping online, it'll show you all the secondhand options. It'll like source through the whole internet and find where you can find that same item or something similar, secondhand. For furniture, I've bought things from AptDeco. AptDeco will deliver it to your house or your apartment and I've had great luck with it. Of course, you always also have Facebook Marketplace, but I tend to like Facebook Marketplace for smaller things. I don't want to have to go and then physically like maybe help get a mover or something. So I like the bigger things to be delivered to me and I'll use Facebook Marketplace for like housewares, clothing, anything smaller, decor, things like that. Last but definitely not least, for electronics, I go to Back Market. You can get warranties. I've bought my laptop there. I've now bought two phones from them. Everything has been amazing. Their customer support has been amazing and you save so much money. Cheers to secondhand shopping helping our wallets and the planet.
