Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
things I no longer buy as a financially responsible 25 year old. Number one is plastic clothes. Yes, this is 100% cotton. My biggest pet peeve right now is walking into a Aritzia, seeing a beautiful shirt, looking at the tag and seeing that it's not only $250, but it's also made completely from polyester. How are you selling plastic for $250? Anyways, moving on to number two is luxury goods. I say this as an owner of luxury goods. I have jewelry from Tiffany's, I have a bag from Chanel, both of which broke within months of owning them. Not only did I have to send them to get them fixed, I had to pay hundreds of dollars to get them fixed at the store. In the first place, why did I buy those if I had to pay to get them fixed? Like, I'm paying for quality, but the quality is not there. Number three is excessive makeup/skincare. I find it really sad and shocking how much of this app is just people showing how much skincare and makeup they have. It's actually insane to me how you have drawers and drawers of items that you probably never use. My skincare routine is literally face wash and moisturizer and that's it. And my makeup routine probably consists of five products. As I've gotten older, I've become way more money conscious. I just want to make sure that whatever I'm buying, I actually need it and I want it and it's not just because I saw it on TikTok or I saw it on Instagram and that girl has it and I also need it. Let me know what you no longer buy in the comments below.
