I think there's a special place in hell

I think there's a special place in hell for influencers who reach out to small brands, small businesses, asking for free stuff and then once they receive the stuff, just completely ghost, don't post, don't respond to anything, you never hear from them again. A few weeks ago, this girl reached out to us wanting to try Court and Crew things and I looked at her profile, she seemed to fit our niche, she had good content. And so I was very happy and I sent her a bunch of our things. So she got it because I can track the shipment and doing it. I never heard back from her. And it's not like I was expecting her to post because it was gifted, but I did wanna know like, hey, how, how did things fit for you? Like, do you like it? Just even getting feedback, I think would be great. She not only never responded to me ever again, she also unfollowed our brand account after she had got all the stuff. And as a brand owner and a creator myself, I think it's incredibly rude to take advantage of small businesses, especially who already don't have a lot of resources. Like I am not a big corporation. I am packing orders in my house. I haven't paid myself since starting this company and every dollar we make goes back into product development and building the brand. So when you hit up a small brand like this, just so you can get a free outfit, it just feels so rude and disrespectful. And it's why I'm so selective about who we gift products to and wanna work with people who genuinely have followed us for a long time. But sometimes you don't know. And anyways, it just upset. It just made me sad.
