So welcome to today's episode of Airbnb guest run by life villa edition. So, now I name it, I run an Airbnb business in Dubai. I have over 20 listings and counting. And this morning, I woke up to a message from a guest who says, "Hey, can I stay in one of your villas?" Now, I listed this place yesterday and she says that the villa that she's currently in, she hates it. So she wants to view mine before she books. And normally, I don't allow it, but the villa happens to be about five minutes from my house. It's in the community next door. and I want the booking and she's a mum and she said she has two small kids so she really wants to see it etc. So I said okay fine. I'll come and walk to the place before church. This is what I'm currently doing. Hopefully if she likes it I'll take her off the platform and go for a direct booking. So all of this to say that when you're running a business in Dubai it's not a side hustle. It's very much your whole life. It's Sunday morning or it's Sunday morning. But hopefully if I can secure her she relaxes she feels good I'll get my five star review and the money will be rolling in. For this villa, she'll be taking it at about 200 quid a night for 40 nights and the rent for this place is 2,400 pounds. So that's the rent covered. The rest of the month it's pure profit.
