People say all the time that homelessness is a housing problem, but in San Francisco it is not. San Francisco homelessness is a drug problem. San Francisco is a drug tourism center. People from across the state, even across the nation, come to San Francisco because drugs are easy and cheap and plentiful. There's tons of services where people can eat and sleep for free. That is absolute bullshit. We need to make San Francisco not a place if you wanna do drugs. And that starts with enforcing the law. We need to give Brooke Jenkins and Mayor Lurie the tools they need to enforce the laws already on the books that say that drugs on the street, and for people that do, we give them a choice. You either go to jail or you pursue treatment. That's how we clean up San Francisco.
