so let's talk about Substack my favourite platform right now for creators so it is basically like a blog and a newsletter combined don't sleep on Substack it is one of my favourite platforms right now for business owners content creators to build a community well anyone journalist anyone like it is the best and I'm gonna talk about what it is and how you can get started on it so basically Substack is a platform that has tools to publish content and then distribute it through a newsletter channel and you can also pay while your content on it so it has four different options in which you can produce content so you can do podcast video text also has a discussion thread where you can do like chats and things like that which allows her one on one dialogue like a wordpress or a male chimp if they like had a baby this is basically what Substack is you start publishing the content and then you can use a distribution of your subscriber base to send it out via newsletter and you can build that community and eventually pay wallet so you can have exclusive content that you're charging for um and you can share that content through the paywall there's also multiple ways you can monetize this platform if you start building an audience so you can use affiliate links if you're talking about like different products and things like that you can link out to them you can do brand integration um and obviously the like main way is just like the paywall it launched in 2017 but again I think like long form content is kind of of having this renaissance this is the perfect platform if you're looking for a place to share long form content especially in the written word it's super user friendly like anyone can publish content it's like having your own mini website without having to like know any HTML and it's also free to use I love all the customizable features too like you can really brand it and make it look nice like for example I started one on creator tips and like this is what it looks like and I did this in like 10 minutes it was super simple to make I'm always telling content creators to not put all your eggs in one basket and diversify your content streams I think Substack is a perfect opportunity to do that especially if you like writing especially you want like a longer form media platform to utilize so I'm into it right now I would check it out at least start like subscribing to a few different substacks to see like how it works and what type of content is shared that's it I'm also gonna do another video that shares like some of my favourite substacks that I'm reading right now okay bye
