I'm a talent manager for content creators and I am getting ready to go to the office today and I thought I'd talk about 2026 and how creator partnerships are looking this year and things to look out for as a creator. So let's get into it. So I'd say the first thing that I've been seeing a lot of is brands are utilizing AI to find content creators. So as a content creator, what does this mean for you? Basically, you need to make sure your content is optimized for brand partnerships to attract. I think the easiest thing you can do is update the bios that you have on your platforms. So these AI platforms search those things to present different creators to brands and agencies that use those platforms. So putting in your location, putting in different content pillars you talk about, something like mom that loves clean beauty, basically describing the type of content creator you are will help you be searchable when these AI platforms are looking for creators. So I've seen a big increase in brands asking for YouTube creators, so this is long form YouTube as well as shorts. So there's something called G E O and basically it's like SEO but for AI platforms and I think a lot of brands are looking to get better search results on things like ChatGPT, so they can utilize content creators to make video content specifically on YouTube. So YouTube shorts are obviously pretty simple. If you're already creating short form content on another platform, I would start posting those on shorts. So I'm seeing a lot more moment marketing with content creators, so working with a creator when there's like a big moment or milestone in their life, so having a baby or buying a new home or remodeling or things like that that they can weave themselves into. So if you have big milestones coming up, pitching yourself to brands and letting them know about those is a really important way to get in front of them in a creative way. I'm seeing a lot of brands use affiliate platforms to reach out to content creators and collaborate with them. So like LTK and specifically Shop My. I've seen so many great brands on that platform that are doing gifting and opportunities through that. So if you're not on affiliate, definitely get on Shop My and LTK as a starting point. And again, a reminder to diversify your platforms. Also getting a lot of requests for subject matter expert. So that is content creators that share their expertise. So if you have something that you are really knowledgeable on, I would start sharing it and then adding it into your content pillars. So like if you are a teacher, like are there different things you can talk about or are you really strong in financial literacy or you're a doctor, there's so many different avenues there. So if there is something that you are an expert in, my advice would be to start weaving that into your content. Okay, I got to dry this hair somehow, probably diffuse it because of crazy curly hair. Um, and get to the office, but I should do part two on this. Hopefully that was helpful. Good luck out there.
