how do I actually get paid more for my projects? I've built like five websites and I'm still broke. What are you charging? Like 150? I don't want to scare these clients off. Yeah. That's exactly why you're stuck. You're charging too little. It's like you're charging like it's 2013. Let me show you how to actually get paid proper money as a web designer. I mean, the experience, isn't it? I just want to secure the client. And you secure yourself a 9 to 5 or 3 pound an hour. Listen, if you want to get paid more, it's not just about being good at building websites. It's about how you position what you do. You're out here selling a website like a bag of chips, but a website is not just pages. It's revenue, visibility, trust, and leads. You're not selling design, you're selling the results. Wait, so I shouldn't just say I build websites? No, no, no. You need to say, "I help service-based businesses build trust online and get more bookings by building high-converting websites." Now it sounds like something you'd pay real money for. And when you give your price, stop charging based on how long it takes you. Charge based on the value that it brings. Even if it only takes me like three days. Exactly. If you build something in three days that makes your client, let's say, 3 grand a month, why are you charging 150 pound? And don't forget, you're using tools, plugins, templates, if you outsource anything as well, that's money gone. Make sure to factor all of these things in. You're not running a charity. Elementor Pro did take like 59 pound off me this year. Plus your time, energy and stress when they ask you for just one more revision. Business, you need to price like a business, not like a favour. So if I actually explain the value, position myself properly, stop underselling, I can start charging 700, 1000 pound. Yes, exactly. And clients will still say yes.
