2026 is the year of the 10X creative generalist. There's never been a better time to make 500k plus a year as a non-technical person. Like, the term 10Xer previously never even applied to people who were in marketing or people who weren't engineers. But now, as long as you're good at these three things, you can be a 10X creative generalist, you can make over 500k a year, you are making it happen and making a lot of money. So first thing is you have to actually have creative taste, right? AI tools make it possible to produce more output, but if your taste sucks, that actually doesn't help. It turns out from everything I see, most people have shitty taste. No. 2 is your operational psychoness, right? You have to just push things along, have a knack for getting things to the next step, know how to get other people to get things done and manage them, know how to manage agents. You just have to be the person that constantly has like eight balls in the air and is keeping them all alive and pushing things forward. Three is your communication skills. You still have to talk to people. You have to talk to designers, you still have to talk to engineers, you have to talk to clients. You also have to talk to AI, give good direction in order to get good outputs back. If you are able to master those three things, you have more leverage than ever.
