commission or salary? commission or salary? the main question that everyone gets a chance to ask themselves. So let's talk about it. So one major focus within commission versus salary is on one gives you stability and the other one pays you for your performance. A salary position is going to pay you for your time and the role that you play. Whereas commission is going to pay for the goals that you're able to hit. It is a performance based position. Life itself is a commission every single day. When you get a chance to go out there and you make a decision, you deal with some type of consequence or results for your decision that can be either good or bad, which is looked at in the form of a commission. If you are to work at McDonald's, as my father always say, and you want to just go flip hamburgers, nothing's wrong with that. But at the end of the day, if you do not go in there and do your job, you will not have a job. So essentially, you are kind of working a commission based job because you still have to hit the goals and the metrics and the need of what is being asked for for people who are hungry, for people who are wanting to receive their product, which is food. That sounds like commission. Just nicely wrapped and presented to you in the form of a salary. Because they're going to pay you for your time and your role that you're playing. But imagine if you went into McDonald's and they told you for every burger that you are able to complete with, they'll pay you $8. If you just do the math, let's say if you went out there and you flipped 100 burgers in one day, you just made $800. If you did that for five days straight, you just made $4,000. The problem is society has individuals believing that this stable income is what makes the most sense for me. And in certain cases, it can be based upon the benefits that you're able to gain from it and the position that you do have in your life. Now also a big key factor is gonna be if you are happy. And if you are happy, you're killing it. Continue to keep doing what you're doing. However, for myself, being within sales and living off of a commission based only job, I see things from a different perspective because I see an opportunity that allows myself or anyone to get ahead and achieve something that they want to get a chance to achieve. It's not about paying the bills when you're living a commission based job. When you have a commission based job, it's more so about how far can you get yourself ahead with taking care of certain things that you wanna get a chance to take care of. Maybe there's a crazy trip that you wanna do. Maybe there's an investment you wanna go ahead and invest in. Maybe you wanna get a chance to put a bunch of your money within the stock exchange. The more that you would get if you're working a salary position, who knows, right? The possibilities are endless when you take a vehicle that is going to pay you based upon your performance, based upon your performance means that it is based upon you. Based upon you means that if you bet and you roll the dice on yourself and nine times out of 10, you will hit big by rolling on yourself, you're gonna have a lot of success. So yes, I'm biased when I come in and I say commission every time over sales. Especially if you're in high school, if you're in your early twenties, if you're in your 30s, even if you're going to your 40s, if you need the opportunity to start over to put yourself in a better position to grind it out to gain success, to not have to worry about going through all these crazy trainings and all these different ladders and you're just like, dude, I just wanna grind and make a shit ton of money, you should get into something that is going to pay you for your performance that's gonna pay you for your deliverability, which is commission.
