Tech sales is weird. Tech sales is one of the few industries where you can find an 18-year-old class and a 60-year-old class in the exact same role. The amount of money that you can make from this type of position doesn't necessarily lose its appeal though. The older you get. Sometimes when you're in tech sales, trying to move up to the manager or the VP role, isn't necessarily the best thing for you because staying as an individual contributor is actually what's bringing in the most money, sometimes you realize that you don't want to have to worry about other sales reps, and other sales reps because you realize that you're just not making as much money or not making as much commission. It's really interesting. It's very far from, you know, the typical sales role. And in the same breath, it's obviously a meritocracy. So you can find yourself as a 24-year-old, or, you know, a 25-year-old in the manager position, in the VP of sales position because if you're bringing in the numbers, if you're performing, then they're going to promote you. We have, in my company, we have like a 24-year-old, he's leading the expansion into the London office. So if you're looking for a position that doesn't necessarily care about your credentials, doesn't necessarily care about how old you are, just cares about you performing, then I would definitely say look into sales.
