Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
In my last video I told you why I'm always broke by the first week of the month. Today I want to speak about the plumbing and method to my madness. This is the exact fintech app that I used to automate my savings. So I never have to rely on willpower because I'm not that disciplined. First up, my number one app is Plum. This is the brain of my whole operation. I use their payday automation feature. The second my salary hits, Plum calculates what I can afford to squirrel away and instantly moves it. I use their round-the-year, each day, it rounds up the change in my account. If you live in the UK, you know that it rains all the time. It's an AI driven system that tucks away money without me even feeling a pinch. The next app that I use is Moneybox. And I use it primarily for round ups and for my lifetime, every time I tap my card for food or the tube, it rounds up the change to the nearest pound and invests it. It sounds small, but over a year, that's enough for a cheeky little holiday. And everybody knows that I love to travel. For the heavy lifting, I use Trading 212 and Vanguard. That is a direct debit. I don't look at it. This also runs on autopilot. I don't look at it, I don't touch it. I just let it compound. And for cash, I might actually use Zopa. They've consistently got some of the best rates for smart saving pots. I keep my emergency fund here because I can split it out into pots with different notice periods to squeeze out every bit of interest. That's why I continue to build my wealth in 2026. I don't try to save. I've built a system that does it for me. You can build a system that does it for you. Which of these apps are your favourites? Sound off in the comment section below.
