How to be a successful CS major? Watch if you're actually going to put in the work. I'm going to share the philosophy that landed me over five internships and a full-time job at Apple. The mindset is, think one or two years ahead of people. If you're a freshman, think like a junior. What would a junior be? They'll be grinding for internships, doing hackathons, project maxing, worried about their future. When I was a freshman, I was applying to internships like my future dependent on it. Don't compare yourself to unemploye employers in your class.
