How to NOT suck at cold calling. Whether you're new to cold calling or you're making cold calls on a daily basis. If you're in insurance, wholesaling real estate, SMMA, AI agency, it doesn't matter. You need to understand this. And I'm the best cold caller in the nation, so you should listen to me. You are not the next Jordan Belfort. You are not Swerve. You are not Juliana Mozzarelli. Okay? So stop watching these videos and trying to be exactly like them. How that you understand that, before you put your little headset on or before you dial a number, you need to fix your fucking attitude and your tonality. Yes, this is a numbers game, but at the same time you gotta go quality over quantity. You have to be calling the right people. You shouldn't be speaking to a receptionist for longer than 30 seconds. If they're not going to put you through, hang up and call somebody else. Before you pick a lead to call, you need to make sure you're doing a little bit of research on them and figuring out who it is you're looking for. A name. Go to the reviews. Figure out who the owner is, because that's who you're looking for. And if you can get a name, that's going to make your job a lot easier. If you can find out who the owner is or the decision maker is, great. But if you can't, I'm going to show you the best way to go about that. Let's just say I'm calling Mike's Plumbing and Jessica picks up the phone. Obviously, I don't want to fucking talk to Jessica. So here's how I'd go about it. Hey, Jessica, maybe you can help me out here for a moment. Who would be responsible for looking at any possible hidden gaps in your guys's XYZ that could be causing you guys to miss out on thousands of dollars every single week? Who would that normally fall under? Now, she's probably going to say Mike or a decision maker. But she's probably going to say, what what's this about? There's a couple ways you can go about this, but one of the best methods that works for me is all I'll do is, okay. Yeah, I was in touch with Mike a few weeks back. I just got caught up. I have a flooded schedule. Maybe you can just transfer me over and if he's not available, I'll just shoot him a voicemail and I'll get in touch with him sometime soon. Great. Now, Jessica thinks that me and Mike are just good old buddies. Little does she know, Mike has no fucking clue who I am. But that doesn't matter. She's going to transfer me over and if he's not available, I'll leave him a voicemail. But if he is, guess what? You get to pitch him. If you get in touch with Mike, fantastic. Now you're going to become a doctor and you're going to act confused like you're calling an old friend that you haven't spoken to in months. For instance, like, Hey, Hey, Mike, what's going on, boss? Hey, it's it's it's Cam. Cam and Cash. Yeah, no, I had just a quick second. I see your guys's Google reviews, dude. You have like a thousand plus reviews. Um, now I don't want to waste anybody's time here, Mike. Mike, who's usually the person responsible for your guys's call flows? Like, is it Jessica, the one I spoke to? Because I called yesterday and nobody was able to pick up the phone. Maybe it's because you were closed? That's just an example, but you're doing problem awareness questions. You're trying to figure out where there could be an issue where you could help this person. So never pitch what they didn't ask for. Once you figure out what the problem is, tell them you have a solution, but you're not too sure that it would make sense. How about we hop on a meeting? And then you're going to take their money. If you want to learn how to make thousands of dollars every single month, cold calling business owners selling them AI automations, DM me the word AI and I might hop on a call with you if you're genuinely serious about changing your situation and making money from a laptop.
