Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
I recently hit a seven-figure net worth at 25, which is surreal to say because I didn't grow up with money. My parents really didn't teach me about growing wealth. No one told me how to do these things, so I figured all of this out from scratch on my own. These are the rich girl principles that really move the needle for me and no matter where you are on your financial building journey, these will be applicable to everybody. Save this video right now because you're gonna want to come back to it. The first principle I learned early on is that wealth is built through ownership and equity, not just income. Instead of only trading your time for money, you want to find places of leverage. And there are three main entry points that you can look into right now. The first one is stock-based compensation. So if you work at a company or a startup that offers you equity or stock in the business, that's a great way to get the stake in the business. The second method is a side hustle or building a business. You own the machine. When you have a job, you are working in the machine, but if you own a business, you own the machine. And the third piece is investing in equities or stocks. I know this can sound really overwhelming, but this is a spectrum. You don't have to do all three at once. Even $50 in an index fund counts. So start small and build your way up. The second rich girl principle is practicing value-based spending. I really love the saying, you can afford anything, but not everything. Pick two or three core categories that really matter to you and spend generously on those, while staying frugal on other categories. And for me, my current biggest categories are my rent and eating out. The third principle is practicing selective sacrifices, especially at the start. As someone who basically started with zero assets, I didn't have the luxury of living in high-rise apartments or traveling, but I knew one of these things eventually. It's not really a sacrifice, it's more like sequencing when you delay these things now and build your foundation, you will be able to enjoy these things later on and you can do that without guilt because you'll already built the foundation that will be working for you into the future.
