Some non-Indian people really think non-bread is our only bread type. But guys, we have a whole bread multiverse and I will not rest until you understand. Okay, first up, we have Roti. She's humble, reliable, and shows up everyday without asking for credit. She's the backbone of our culture and she's pretty iconic. Then there's Naan. Has brand recognition and probably a LinkedIn. Then Puri, tiny, puffy, and goes absolutely feral on a Sunday morning. Girl loves to brunch and we love her. Then Bhatura is basically a booty that went to the gym, got a protein shake, and chose violence. And then we enter the Bronto universe. Because why have one Bronto when you need a whole universe? So there's plain Paratha. Layered, a little complex, a little greasy, but in a comforting way where you don't ask questions, you just eat it. Then you have stuffed Paratha. It can be stuffed with aloo, gobi, paneer, really whatever the fam's feeling that day. There's layers, there's filling, there's a whole personality. And last but not least, Kulcha. Fatty, deserves his flowers because he's so underrated. He's always standing in shadow, even though he's right there, doing the work, tasting incredible. This one's for you, Kulcha. No, these are not the same. It's like saying Tiffa, croissant, bagels, pita are all the same thing just because they're made of bread. Not the same thing.
