You commented PRICE. I price jobs. You asked how I price jobs. Here's a drywall repair that's on my actual spreadsheets. Let me flip screens. All right guys, let's get right into this. Most guys are gonna charge $250 for a simple drywall repair. If you do that, you're leaving money on the table. We're gonna charge $572 and here's why. See, here's our material cost, $36. Our labor cost, we're running 4 hours at $180. Next thing we're gonna look at, everybody screws it up, your overhead. If you don't know what overhead is, go look it up because it is extremely important. Labor and materials, profit on each. You need to charge that. If you don't, you're leaving money on the table. That's how we're gonna get our cost of goods. We're gonna look at our profit. We're gonna make $350 in profit. And this is the number that matters, 62.25% net margin. This is the exact sheet I use for every single job. So there you see it, 62% net margin. People are charging $250 for this and you wonder why you're still broke, right? So this is the formula. You drop me a comment if you like and follow because you know what? If you're guessing on your price, that is why you are still broke.
