The most profitable handyman skill isn't fixing anything. It's actually pricing. Because most guys think they're making money and they're actually not. Here's the difference. I used to price jobs like this, time, materials, a little bit extra and send it. That's how I stayed broke. Now I price like this. Labour, materials, overhead, then markup. That's how I hit 50, 60, and even 70% net margin. 70% net margin. If you're not marking up properly, you don't have a business. You simply have a job.
