THE NATIONAL AVERAGE SAYS WE SHOULD MAKE AND BE BILLING BETWEEN 60 AND 90 DOLLARS AN HOUR. THAT'S GREAT IN THEORY. YOU'RE DEAD WRONG. ON AN AVERAGE DAY WE WORK ANYWHERE BETWEEN NINE TO 12 HOURS. Handyman pricing at $50 an hour. You think that's good money, right? The national average says that we should make and be billing between $60 and $90 an hour. That's great in theory. And for those people that think that's all we're worth, you're dead wrong. On an average day, we work anywhere between 9 to 12 hours. Before I got to where I am today, I worked at $50 an hour and my average day was around 11 and a half to 12 hour days. That works out to be $275 of billable time that I knew and I was making $23 an hour. If you can live on $23 an hour and run a business, and that is before you take off any expenses of fuel, trucks, all that kind of stuff and tools, no one ever taught me this kind of math. If those numbers kind of piss you off, then good. Give me a follow because I got more things that are gonna piss you off and maybe start making you think.
