I make a lot of very strange apps on my phone, but somebody just asked me if I could do a tutorial on how I do that. It doesn't require any programming, AI. It's just a drag and drop interface. I'll show you how to do it now. On your phone, pre-installed should be something called Shortcuts. It's an app, but you can download it off the App Store for free if you don't have it. For it, you're going to search for it and you're going to open it. These are shortcuts. I make tons of these things, but they're basically little tiny programs that you can turn into apps on your home screen. Once you're inside of Shortcuts, the plus in the corner to create a new shortcut. From here, let's make a shortcut that opens the camera and takes a photo. So I'm gonna type in camera. To click the camera app. There are tons of different apps you can pull actions from, but camera is one of them. We're gonna choose the take photo action. We're gonna click hold it and we're gonna drag it into our shortcut. Now, whenever we run this shortcut, this by clicking the top or bottom right corner. It will open the camera and take a photo. Super cool. Now we have a shortcut that takes a photo. Now let's add this to our home screen like an app. To the share button, right, we're gonna click add to home screen. We can change the icon, the name, we can even make it an image. And now it shows up here. When we click it, it takes a photo. Super cool. Now we have a shortcut that takes a photo. Now let's add other actions to this together. I'm gonna drag it into this. It's gonna pick up the data from the previous action. Photo. So now instead of just taking a photo, it will take a photo and it will show it to me now. Now. Thing I wanna show you, you can customize these actions. Some blue text or a dropdown arrow, those are options that are customizable. So, for instance, it with the front camera instead. I added another where I can send something to a person and we can send that photo to a specific contact. But that is the basics. It's just a tiny little programming language that doesn't require any actual syntax on your iPhone for making apps. Let me know if you have any questions.
