The number one thing I would focus on is to focus on where your money is going. This means tracking your money, tracking your expenses, and focus on budgeting. Budgeting has helped me so much and I personally check my budget app every single week. I also use a pen and paper to see where my money is going weekly. So I like to go through my accounts, see what I'm spending my money on. Am I eating out too much? Am I splurging too much? Am I shopping too much? Am I saving enough? This is really important when it comes to becoming financially literate. It's also important if you want to focus on growing your wealth and growing your income. I personally use Monarch app. What I love about the app Monarch is that it does a monthly recap of your expenses, your budget, your spending, your savings goals, and everything that has to do with your income. It also categorize your spending based on food, restaurant, shopping, educational expenses. It has a really good category of your expenses and it breaks it down very well. You can also see where you are heavily going over in your budget and for me, this has always been eating out. I definitely do splurge on eating out because I don't like to cook at home. So the app really tells me where I need to focus on and where I need to really double down on and hone in on and get serious. Another great thing about the app is that it has a section for your savings goals. You can track to see how far you're close to meeting your savings goal. This is very motivating and very inspiring if you're someone who likes to see metrics on where you are with your goals. This would definitely help keep you on track and motivate you to keep going with your savings goal. So if you wanna get better with your money and you wanna get better with your finances, become more financially literate, highly focus on a budgeting and tracking your money. Every week you should be seeing where your money is going, you should be seeing how much you're spending, track your expenses, write it down, use the app, whatever you have to do. I highly recommend you do this if you want to become more financially literate. Make sure you save this video for later and make sure you follow me for more personal finance tips.
