One of the best things you can do if you are trying to save money and feel more financially secure is to save your first $1,000. This may seem like a little, but this is actually a lot for someone who hasn't saved money before or for someone who's struggling. When you save your first $1,000, you a sense of accomplishment, a sense of confidence that if an emergency happens, you can at least cover some type of emergency. So I would focus on saving your first $1,000 as a baby buffer and then work your way up to three to six months worth of your expenses. This is really going to do a lot, boost your confidence, regulate your nervous system, help you feel secure in your money, and it's really gonna give you security and peace. So I would focus on saving my first $1,000 if I was someone that wanted to become financially literate and financially secure.
