I have spent a lot of money the last couple months, so here are some things that I'm doing to stop the bleeding and to focus on growing my savings back up. First thing I'm doing is getting back to budgeting. I haven't been on my budgeting app in a long time. The last couple days I've been tracking my spending, I've been going through my expenses, I've been categorising things I spent on and I've really been locked in and focusing on where our money is going, making sure that I am stopping the bleeding. So that's my main priority. I do use the app called Monarch. I highly recommend it. There's a free version and a paid version and if you don't have a lot of subscriptions, I don't see the issue with paying for it. So I pay 16.99 for it, but it's a great budgeting app. Highly recommend. The second thing that I'm doing is cutting back on vacation. I've been travelling a lot since December. Vacation has to come to a halt right now because I really blew through thousands and thousands of dollars since December and it just showed me that I really need to get a hold on my spending and really just focus on building my savings to where I wanted to be. So I'm not gonna do any more trips until the summertime. That is my goal. I was travelling every single month and that's just spending way too much money. So right now I'm cutting back on vacation until the summertime. So I'm down 25 pounds because I am on weight loss injection, so that's been helping with my eating. However, I do wanna start eating at home more. I eat like one to two times a day. I've been eating like, Panera soups, salads. But I really wanna start eating at home and still stop eating out because even though I'm eating less, I'm still eating out. So I want to make my sandwiches at home, eat Panera at home, buy their packet soup, continue drinking a lot of water and just really focus on eating at home and making sandwiches and, you know, simple meals at home. So that's really going to be my main priority for the month of April and I'm hoping that this helps a lot with my spending because again, I'm eating less, but I'm still eating out and the goal is to not eat out at all. So, yeah, that's my third priority. The last thing I want to do is focus on landing two more clients. So I do have a social media management business that I am focusing on growing and right now, I sent a proposal to a potential new client who wants to sign on. So that means I'll have two clients. So my goal is to have maybe a third to fourth client to also increase my income. Also make sure that I'm not touching my business income. So really my main priorities for the month of April for me to start building my savings back up is to really just cut back on spending, start budgeting again, start eating at home and to increase my income. So make sure you follow me for more financial tips and to follow me on my journey.
