I saw an article today that says baby boomers are now the generation that are on their phones the most and that's definitely true with my parents. Like I visit them, I wave high, they wave high back and then they just go back to scrolling. And I think it's because they're the oldest generation right now. Meaning all the mistakes they made in their past, they have to deal with the consequences today. So like I can see it in my dad's eyes. Like when he's not looking at the phone, I can see like the wheels saying like, man, I wish I joined the Navy. I should have, I should have moved to California when I was in college. I can't do I can't do I gotta scroll Twitter for five hours and zone out so I don't have to feel depressed. That's what it is. They just want to like scroll doom scroll, doom scroll, doom scroll, disassociate, zone out, not want to see what stocks they missed, what kind of people they should have married. They'd rather just zone out and scroll and, you know, they should they should be on Zola. They should have bought.
