I use Claude to help me co-parent with my ex-husband, not it, co-parent. Not in the way you think, but definitely makes co-parenting easier. So since I was married for 25 years and I have five kids, there's a lot of expenses. And when you're divorced as you split those expenses, that can be kind of tedious. To make that less tedious, here's what I do. Every time I have an expense for the kids, I tell Claude, whether it's on my phone or my desktop, I just take a picture of the receipt and I tell it to add to my expenses for the month. I keep all of these expenses in Obsidian, but you could do it in a Google Doc or in a Google Drive or whatever. Now I know every time I do it, it's automatically in there for the month. And then I have it scheduled. So at the beginning of the next month, when all of those expenses have been filed, I say, Hey Claude, pull up all the expenses for that month. It already figured out what it does, 50% of those expenses and then I double check it. OK, go ahead and send it to the kids dad. Claude sends it to my ex-husband. Actually, Bob does. I've named him Bob and it says from Bob, Jenna's AI assistant. So it's not even from me. Nobody gets to get mad at me. But co-parenting has just been handled. It's accurate. This is one way Claude's beauty actually is adding to it and taking away something I don't like to do. It's not even from me. I'm not even the bad guy.
