Hook

People got so mad at me because I said I was sending my 12-year-old son to live with his dad because I was tired of doing it myself. I'm talking half a million views. You would have thought it was dead. But outside of all the noise were so really thoughtful responses that helped put things into perspective for me. Like the trauma that moved in four hours away could call him. I moved around a lot in his early years from my career. So he went to three different elementary school. But for the past five years that we've been back in Baltimore, he's cultivated his own little community. He has a best friend and child called himself having a girlfriend. So he would go from being the only child in his house with his own room to try and acclimate into a household with three other children. most importantly, he said he does not want to go live with that man. He don't even want to go for the summer, so we've had to have some hard conversation. And I'm doing my due diligence about a big brother program and a summer camp to keep him busy over the next few months.
