I just completed the Claude 101 certification, a basic certification on how to understand Anthropic's AI tool. I'm going to give you three use cases as a finance student in college and how you can be using the most powerful AI on the market today. Number one, using it for financial modeling and Excel. Not only can Claude make things within Excel, and it can make financial models using the pro version, but it can also troubleshoot your Excel documents if you have any issues with your formulas or something isn't adding up. And you can also use it to create financial models with public company info, like making a five year DCF for Apple for example. Number two, market research. Depending on the formatting and how you want it to be presented to you, you can have it analyse the market as a whole, an individual sector, industry, or a specific stock, giving you all the relevant information you need. Whether that's making a hypothesis, making a presentation, or maybe it's a stock you're thinking about buying or selling, Claude can help you research the market with its deep research thinking modes. And third and last but not least, I personally had it do a lot of networking for me on LinkedIn and going into different documents. If there's a huge email list and identifying different people that I should be connecting with, people that I could be reaching out to based on different roles, postcard opportunities or internships that may fit me and what kind of goals I wanna be accomplishing in the future and for people that I can reach out to. I hope this has been helpful for you guys. I know Claude can be a pretty sort of scary and confusing place, especially you haven't done any research on it, but I highly, highly recommend it as a tool. I think it can save you guys a bunch of time and can also be something that's great to talk about on your resume and in job interviews. I hope this helps.
