Okay, I am on my third watch of Off Campus in five days and I fully intend on watching it again. And I genuinely needed to talk about what's happening right now because this is a cultural moment that literally needs to be studied. Off Campus has literally gotten 36 million views in 12 days and it's the third biggest Prime debut ever. This is behind Lord of the Rings, Fallout, The Boys. It outperformed Reacher. And the best part is is these books have been out since 2015. There were a million good reads reviews before a single episode even aired and BookTok had basically built an entire universe around these characters, the couples, the world. And so basically the brand's community already existed before Prime ever got involved. And now it's like literally a phenomenon because people who've never touched the books are literally buying all five of them and people who have read them are picking them up to read them again. Now, Kennedy literally said that BookTok saved Prime. And the show already took what was already kind of like a cult-like obsession and now it's including a whole new generation of people, including myself. JLo's "On the Floor" featuring Pitbull officially surpassed one billion streams on Spotify on May 7, 2026. This milestone makes it the first-ever track by J.Lo to enter the exclusive Spotify Billions Club. And that scene went so viral, which is now a banger reborn for a new generation of listeners. Obviously, she had this cute moment with Mika, which like I'm obsessed with because this was just recreating the whole entire like moment that people were dying over. Then something even more unique is the fact that Liquid I.V. has done something nobody has done before. They took actual lead actors in character and built a co-branded ad around a limited edition Cherry Pop flavor that tied directly to a specific moment in the show. They literally did not just sponsor the show. They extended the world of the show into real life and gave fans a literal way to buy a piece of it. And here's what makes this also interesting from a marketing standpoint. Some people found the show through Prime ads. I personally found it through BookTok and like people talking about it, but my friends got served direct ads about it. But the show reached 36 million people, probably more now, through completely different entry points because obsession was already so real and it was spreading in every single direction at once. And Prime is literally not slowing down. They confirmed season two in literally February of this year and then they start production of season two literally Monday, June 1st. They are not making people wait two years and like losing the momentum, kind of like I feel like Stranger Things did a little bit in the same as Euphoria, but they're staying in the window and absolutely feeding the obsession while it is alive. I honestly feel like this show is a great example of something that actually markets itself, not because of like a big budget, but because the right audience had the right thing and they could not stop talking about it. And then everything around it, the music, the brand partnerships, the book sales, the actors' pages are even blowing up. All of it happened because the obsession was real enough to pull everything in its orbit. Have you watched it yet? Because if not, I genuinely don't know what you're doing. And if you have, please tell me your favorite moment because I need people to talk about this with, so.
