Then you need to be able to leverage one core concept called brain rot psychology. And if you can stick to the end of this video, you'll have a massive scientific advantage over everybody else that's trying to build a personal brand right now. So about 700 days ago, I started working as a content marketer for dozens of personal brands. Guys and girls making anywhere from 10 to 800,000 dollars a month just by posting content. And the difference between those that build a really successful personal brand versus those that don't is learning how to hypnotize the algorithm. Now, what do I mean by that? I want you to think about the last time that you might have been doom scrolling, maybe right before bed, or maybe watching a T.V. show before bed. And someone, maybe your mom or your roommate, started calling your name. And they have to say your name four or five times before you got out of the trance that you were in and finally heard them. Think about how nothing else existed to you in that moment outside of what you were watching. So in that state, you're aware of what you're looking at, but you're not actively in thought. And the reason I mentioned that it's right before bed is because that State naturally occurs when the sun sets and your brain waves slow down. So without getting too scientific, your body produces melatonin, which is a signal to your brain to slow its brain waves down and to get you ready for sleep. But as your brain waves slow down, you start thinking less and less. Your analytical mind shuts off and your subconscious mind comes to the forefront instead. Now stay with me. I know it's getting a little confusing: Which means that the information that you're exposed to later in the day, especially right before you're going to bed, is bypassing your thinking brain and going straight to your ***subconscious mind***. You're much more likely to accept it, to not question it, and to just find it entertaining and relaxing. It's the same exact reason why back in the day, those super long info commercials used to come on really late at night. Because anybody who's watching T.V. at that time is much more likely to believe and accept the information they're being presented on T.V. And therefore much more likely to buy whatever the infomercial was selling. It's also the same reason why you like to dooms scroll at night versus the day, or watch your favourite Netflix series at night versus the day. Because as the sun goes down, you fall into that state of relaxation. That's how hypnotization works. So a hypnotist bring people on stage and force them into a state of hyper relaxation. And once the subject or whoever's on stage reaches that point, then they start giving them commands, and that person will just accept it. Right? Now, how does that affect content or your personal brand? Well, there's two ways, right? So the first way is very surface level, and that would just be post at night. But that doesn't work. And the reason that doesn't work is that just because you post at seven PM tonight doesn't mean the algorithm is going to push your video tonight at seven PM. For example, my personal account, this one right here. I've noticed that everything I post usually takes about a day or two to really get going on the algorithm. Uh, there's the second way. It's a much deeper layer, and it's something I'm doing right now. And that's making your content a destination for people to get lost into. And what does that mean? So the first way is having a reputable intro or format. Now you can do this in many different ways, right? I have a friend named Adrian on here. Adrian, if you're watching this, his content's amazing. You guys should watch it as well. Every single one of his videos starts about the same way, in which he has three photos of famous figures or three photos of things that are going to be related to what he's gonna talk about. And then he has his title, which is always the same font. That's very unique to him. Right? And every time he comes up on my for you page, my brain almost labels this video as my comfort show, something that I want to watch because I know what to expect. The same exact reason why your favourite T.V. shows have intro songs. When you keep hearing that song, you fall into a state of relaxation before watching the episode. Now, another way to do this is through content series with episodes, right? So, for example, if you're a fitness creator, this could be day three of training for your half marathon. This could be day five of starting your garden. This could be day seven of 75 hard. But the point is to have a series that people can binge when they come across your content. So let's say you come across somebody's for you page and it's already episode eight. You want them to be able to go back and binge episode one through eight. This is something I love to do for myself and I love to recommend for my clients, because it's one of the easiest ways to turn your content from something super random to something very, very bingeable. Now, the last thing you can do, which is something I'm also doing right now, is making your videos longer. Because the longer someone spends with you, especially when they're in that state of slower brain waves, the more impressionable they are. And the More likely they are to accept what you have to say as truth. Not only as truth, but they're also much more likely to be comforted by it. The end of the day when you dooms scroll, you spend a lot of time on your phone or when you watch your late night show or your late night movie, whatever it is, you spend a lot of time looking at the screen. You want the viewers to do the same thing with your content. You want to give them something that's longer than 10 seconds, or 15 seconds at something like this, that they can watch for a couple minutes and maybe click on your profile and then watch something else and watch something else and watch something else and watch something else. And that's how you get people subconsciously to fall in love with you and your brand and everything that you stand for. Now if you're able to incorporate just one of these things into your content, you give people a place to get lost into at the end of their days. You want to become the creator that someone is watching at the end of the night. And then when someone's calling them, they're not hearing anything. That's where you wanna position yourself. You want to give people a place to escape their analytical mind and fall into a trance like state through your content. Cause if a person is not analysing the information that you're presenting to them, they're far More likely to accept it, believe it and surrender to it. And of course, all of this happens subconsciously, so it's not this massive event that people are aware of. And if you can remember these concepts, then you will build the magnetic Cult like following and personal brand that you have been looking for.
