haven't posted one of these in a while so I figured it's time to bring it back. Let's budget my paycheck as a 25 year old engineer. So after taxes and contributions, I got paid $3,657. The first thing is move $800 to my rent saving and this covers half of my next I paid down the balance of all 5 of my credit cards and that came out to be $1,269. Next I made my car payment which was $600. So now with the last $988, I can do whatever I want. I can pay some student loans, I can invest, I can save it for personal spending. So I decided to invest $800, pay $100 in student loans, and then move the remaining $88 to general savings. So nothing too crazy going on with this paycheck. I want to make sure that I'm investments and paying off all my debt. Follow for more finance tips.
