How to make your first investment (Fidelity)

How to make your first investment using Fidelity. Assuming that you've already made an account and signed in, all you have to do is click the green plus button at the bottom. You're gonna see a bunch of different options. If you don't have any money in your Fidelity account yet, then you click the transfer button. But for this example, I'm gonna assume that you've already transferred money. So now we're just gonna go ahead and click trade. Once you click trade, you can search for a specific stock. I've already searched for Microsoft, so I'm gonna go ahead and just click it. I'm pretty much saying that I want to invest in Microsoft stock. From here, make sure you're on the right account and that you have money in this account. So I'm gonna go ahead and use my long-term investing account for this example. I have about 150 dollars in it. Then just set the amount to whatever you wanna invest and then when you're all set, you can just hit preview and then just confirm it and you're good to go. The market is open from 9:30 AM Eastern to 4 PM Eastern time, Monday through Friday. So the next time the market is open, you can buy your first stock. Follow for more finance tips.
