Budget my paycheck with me as a 25 year old engineer working in Atlanta, Georgia. I got paid $3,677. The first thing I do every single paycheck is move $800 to my rent savings. This pays half of my rent each month. Then I pay off all my credit card balances in full, and this time it was $1,516. Then I pay $300 towards my car payment, and this is all additional principle because I already made my car payment earlier this month. Then I move $241 to my car insurance savings and I actually need to pay that here in a couple days. Investing is a huge priority for me, so I move $800 to my Fidelity brokerage account and I'll show y'all what I plan on investing into later this week. I just realized I have $19 left over, so I'll probably just move this to my emergency fund. Overall, I think I need to cut down on my credit card spending, but it is what it is.
