These are the nine things that I upgraded when I started making over $200,000 a year. First thing that I upgraded was just everything between me and the ground. So that's your mattress, your shoes and the tires on your car. So the second thing that I upgraded was just getting semi-annual blood work. I want to figure out what's going on under the hood. It really doesn't cost that much to get blood work done anyways. And I think it's actually going to save you a lot of money in the long run. The third thing that I did was I hired cleaners. At this point, you're making over $100 an hour. So paying somebody $15 and hour to come once a month and just get into all the knobs and crannies is very much worth it. I actually think if you own your own house it even makes your house hold its value even longer. The fourth thing is just investing in non-toxic cookware. So even if you have enough money to do it eating out all the time is extremely unhealthy. And if you're using toxic products to cook your meals, then you're just filling your body with even more toxins. The fifth thing is just upgrading the hotels that you say out on vacation. If you're making over two $100,000 a year, you're probably working really hard and don't have the ability to take a ton of vacations. So you want to make sure that you maximize the time that you actually do get. Sixth thing I did was I just hired a CPA to help with tax planning and make sure that I'm doing all the right things throughout the year to pay as little on taxes as I possibly can. Seventh thing is doing a back door Roth IRA. So if you're making over $200,000 a year, you're no longer able to contribute directly to a Roth IRA. And so what I do is I just to a traditional IRA and then I immediately convert that to my Roth IRA. which in the long run saves a ton of money in taxes. Okay, number eight, I invest in skills that I think are going to help boost my income in the long run. just because I'm making $200,000 a year now doesn't mean that I'm just going to stop learning or stop trying to maximize my income potential. actually I invest in hobbies. Life isn't all about work. It's about enjoying things along the way as well.
