Come with me to finally graduate from Carleton University. For those who don't know, I finished school last year in August, but my university didn't have a winter convocation. So I had to wait eight months to finally walk the stage. Me and my parents drove five hours to Ottawa and made a pit stop on route to get some coffee till we finally touched down at the hotel. We linked up with the rest of the fam who got there and we made our way to the ceremony. At this point, I was feeling so nervous. We made our way to the field house, which is our sports facility, at if you didn't know. Welcome to the 164th Convocation. I studied commerce/business. When I was there sitting down, I just started reminiscing on all the memories and growth that happened within the four years. Coming in, I was just a shy, 17-year-old, socially awkward, and now I'm graduating. Got out my comfort zone, started social media. Just so many things. Honestly, just feeling blessed. Walking the stage was one of the best experiences I've ever had and will never forget. After that, linked up with all my friends to take pictures. Then we went to go get dinner and a burger. Loved it. And of course, it's time to start the party, but before that, we have to go to the liquor store to get some celebratory vodka. Got back to the hotel, changed and headed out to a party for my friend who also graduated. The vibes were 10 out of 10. Dancing, games, singing, everything. Overall amazing day.
