Americans are obsessed with Euromaxxing. But can you blame them? I'm in Bordighera, Italy right now, and I couldn't help but notice how the locals spend their time. So, I decided to try it. My morning started with an espresso and a pastry. Next, I headed to the beach to take a dip in the sea. Sunbathe with the locals for a bit, then stop by the local markets. And don't forget about the focaccia and espresso number two. Followed by a quick nap before heading to dinner in the town. Americans are so caught up in work, they forget to slow down. But it's quite the opposite here. It feels like everything moves slower. And for visiting Americans, this feels like a way to escape reality. Well, as long as their pre-approved PTO allows for that is. But maybe that's why we're all obsessed with Euromaxxing. It gives us a sense of an easier life, filled with loved ones and good food.
