I spent $3,000 for a plane to promote my business at @Webflow conf I spent $3,000 for a plane to promote my business, but nobody was there to see it. So I'm in Boston at Webflow conf, the conference for marketers and builders creating what's next on the web. And I just rebuilt our entire website on Webflow. I figured this would be the perfect place to unveil it. The problem was getting the attention of hundreds of conference goers between the keynotes, happy hours, and live performances. This is going to be harder than expected. So here's my plan: I hired a plane to fly over the Seaport with a banner that reads www.creatorbuzz.com. Creatorbuzz.com. Impossible to miss, right? But if the plane isn't on time, my entire plan is ruined. So I ran outside as fast as I could and looked everywhere. And there it was, the plane and all the banner flying right over the seaport exactly as we planned. Except I was the only person standing outside and you could barely see it. It turns out everyone was watching it out. I don't like ruined. $3,000 thrown right into the sky. Literally. I walked back inside, defeated. But then I noticed something. Our new creatorbuzz site displayed all over the afterparty venue, right in front of everyone. It turns out I didn't need to spend $3,000 after all because Webflow just unveiled some new features around AEO to make it easier for sites like ours to get discovered.
