is it worth

Is it worth reading? Is it worth that? Than the size of your head? I'm going to tell you. These are the longest books I've read, and whether or not the time and energy I put into them was worth it. I've got a list here and short horror, 99.9% of them are Sarah J Maas books because she loves to write emotional damage in the form of brick. First of all, the longest book, Kingdom of Ash with 984 pages. 100% yes. This is one of the best books ever written. It is 984 pages of pure emotional damage and I will put myself through it again and again. We then have all three of the Crescent City books. House of Earth & Blood with 803 pages. Yes. I think that this book, Crescent City 1, is one of the best first books in a fantasy series ever. I will stand on that hill. House of Sky & Breath, book two with 805 pages. I would also say yes, because it was still amazing. And House of Flame and Shadow, 835 pages. Of big pages of no. I said what I said. I think House of Flame and Shadow butchered the series and the characters. And there is a couple things in that book which were phenomenal, but just not enough to make all 835 pages worth it. One. This one is going to ruffle so many feathers because A Court of Silver Flames was 757 pages. No. It was not worth it. If I just took the smart scenes and added a bit more plot, then yes. And I'm not saying that because on absolutely goddamn smut hater too. I just think there was too much in that book and not enough plot. City of Gods & Monsters by Kayla Edwards with 760 pages. Sadly, no. Unfortunately, this book did not vibe with me. The concept was great, but the plot started losing the plot, like, really. The relationship, I didn't vibe with the pacing or the characters or their relationship. Glad that other people loved it. I'm really hoping that they're loving book two as well, because that world is just so cool. What are the longest books you've ever read and if they were worth reading? I'd love to know. Bye.
