if you love witches, old magic, curses, and gothicy vibes, you need to add these books to your TBR right now. Weyward by Emilia Hart. It's a generational story following three women across three different time lines and they are all interconnected. Everything witchy, feminine, and hatred for women, witchcraft. And this is just written so incredibly beautifully and all three stories of these women will just make you think about a lot of things. And also you make time cry, but make you happy at the same time because of how resilient these women are and the feminine rage. We love a bit of feminine rage. This book was so good and just makes you want to connect with nature, birds, everything natural. It just was amazing. We then have Tea & Alchemy by Sharon Lynn Fisher. Now unlike Weyward, which is more of a historical fiction, this is a cozy, gothic, very loosely based on Dracula where our FMC is a recluse vampire on the Cornish Moors. So we've got this very gothic setting and our FMC keeps seeing these things in these tea leaves, these omens and whoever she's seeing these omens for ends up, the whole town thinks that Harker is out our person doing all of these things. Harker and pair out to find this mysterious entity is causing grief around the town. This is just perfectly whimsical, romantic, dual narration and available to listen to on unlimited. Hmm. Have. And then finally we have Juniper & Thorn by Ava Reid. Now this one is dark, gothic, really heavily based within folklore. Is unsettling. You're screamish, isn't was dark, atmospheric reading that you're reading it and you're like, what is going on? But it is so captivating and so beautifully written that I just couldn't put it down. I kept on pages, I needed to know what was going on because you don't know what's going on, but it is so dark, twisted fairy tale just has kind of has you staring at a wall because you know, read possible. So those are three of my favorite witchy, magic, gothic recommendations. All completely giving different vibes. So if any of them sound up your alley, then get reading because they're all so good in their own individual ways. I would love some more recommendations of anything witchy because I'm currently in the phase, so if you have any, please comment them down below and I'll see you guys next time.
