spend a very non-traditional work day in my life as the social media manager for e.l.f. SKIN spend 12 hours in oakland to produce a TikTok live I left my apartment before the sun was out, did my makeup in the car on the way I showed up 20 minutes before take off, got some work done on the plane I flew JSX, I fear may have ruined regular airlines from me I landed with plenty of time to spare, got into town a little early so I hung out at blue bottle before heading into the office where Darren gave me the grand tour and can we talk about this product closet and bar situation We need to get this in LA But then it was time to lock in, I wrote out my to-do list, hopped on a couple calls, switched out the media room I booked and started setting up for the live Today's live was all about SPFs, so I laid out our entire sun-touchable lineup, grabbed a few extra products for demos Made myself fueled, grabbed a fig bar, finished setting up the room, wanted to make sure everything looked perfect, trained out some extra facilitator guides, highlighted a few of my favorite community questions to make sure we got to them And before I knew it, we were live It was my first time producing one of these at e.l.f. I was extremely relieved that everything ran smoothly, after we wrapped, I packed everything up, headed back to JSX and ended one of the quickest work trips I've ever taken.
