Through clients and a local authority worker, he learned about the severe shortage of support for people with autism, learning disabilities, and complex mental health needs. Many young adults were stuck at home or in long-term hospital beds. This gave him his idea. THE VENTURE ROOM THE BUSINESS In 2012, Bata founded iBC Healthcare. The mission was to take people out of long-term hospital beds and provide high-quality care in the community. He started with community services, offering activities like football stadium visits and arts and crafts. Then he opened his first daycare centres in Leicester, turning an old warehouse into both a care centre and the company's first office.
