Everybody thinks

Everybody thinks right hand drive cars are cool, but if you've ever actually driven one, this is a Japanese imported RX7. Oh, the right side. The most obvious thing about a Japanese import is you drive on the right hand side, which may seem cool in theory, but it's not very convenient. On the surface, everything may look normal, except now I'm shifting with my left hand. Spending 10 years with it, shifting with my right hand, it is very weird shifting with my left. One of the most interesting things is that the window switches are reversed. You would think this one controls the driver window and this the passenger. However, it's the complete opposite. Obvious. Basically going through drive-thrus unless you go in reverse. And when you park, you're getting out on the same side as the sidewalk. That stuff's not that big of a deal. But by far the weirdest thing is just plain old driving on the right side everywhere. I feel like everywhere I go, I'm hugging the curb or the lane on the left side. So it's foreign to me. It's like driving a car for the first time again. If I continue to drive on the right hand side, I will get used to it, but then when I get in my M3, it's gonna feel backwards all over again. It might seem like I was just complaining the whole time, but I'm just trying to be real with you. The pros outweigh the cons. Right hand drive is sweet. And can you really call your car JDM if it's not right hand drive?
